Privacy Policy — Verdict: The Grey Eye

Last updated: 2026-08-03.

Verdict: The Grey Eye ("the game") is developed by Low Sky Games ("we"). This policy explains what data the game handles.

What we collect

Nothing, ourselves. The game has no accounts, no server, and no analytics of our own. Your save (game progress and settings) is stored locally on your device and is never transmitted to us. Deleting the app deletes it.

Save backups

On iOS, the game can keep a backup copy of your save in your own iCloud account (the app's private iCloud container) so progress survives reinstalling or changing devices; you can also restore it explicitly from Settings. That data is yours, stored under your Apple ID; we cannot read it. On Android, saves are included in Android's standard Auto Backup to your Google Drive, under your Google account, with the same property: we never see it.

Third-party services

The game uses two third-party services, each with its own privacy policy:

  1. 1. Google AdMob (advertising) — shows optional and interstitial ads in the free version. AdMob may collect device identifiers and ad-interaction data to serve and measure ads, as described in Google's privacy policy. In the EEA/UK, a consent dialog is shown before any ad personalization (Google UMP); you can choose non-personalized ads. On iOS, the App Tracking Transparency prompt lets you refuse tracking entirely — the game works identically either way. Purchasing "Remove ads" disables interstitial advertising.
  2. 2. RevenueCat (purchase management) — if you buy "Remove ads", RevenueCat processes the purchase receipt issued by Apple/Google to keep your purchase restorable across devices, per the RevenueCat privacy policy. Payment itself is handled entirely by Apple or Google; we never see payment details.

Children

The game is not directed at children under 13. Ads are configured for a general audience.

Offline play

The game is fully playable offline. With no network connection, no data leaves your device at all.
